Jabarie Hinds brought two-way bite to UMass backcourt
In the 2015-16 season, Jabarie Hinds was a high-usage, high-impact guard for Massachusetts, averaging 14.5 points, 3.0 assists, and 1.5 steals per game while starting 21 of 32 games. His calling card was disruptive defense and pressure creation — he led the team with 47 steals, posted a strong assist-to-turnover ratio, and still shot a respectable 36.9% from three. If a team wants a scrappy, experienced guard who can score, defend, and keep the engine humming, Hinds fits the bill.
