Ashley Dinges is emerging as a tough, do-it-all forward for Providence
In the 2025-26 season, Ashley Dinges gave Providence a versatile frontcourt spark, averaging 4.7 points and 3.4 rebounds in 20.1 minutes while starting 19 of 33 games; the early-season buzz was about her edge: a 6-foot-1 forward praised by coach Erin Batth as a tough fit for the system, with a double-double track record in high school and a knack for disrupting plays. Her shooting has been inconsistent, but the energy, rebounding, and physicality make her the kind of player who can help a team’s culture as much as its box score.
