Left-handed bat, high-contact catcher with pop for Northeastern
Will Fosberg has emerged as a tough, left-handed-hitting catcher for Northeastern, and in the 2026 season he delivered multiple impact games, including a 3-for-5, two-double, five-RBI breakout against UConn and a solo homer in the NCAA regional against Kansas[2][5][11]. His 2025 season showed a usable offensive profile with power-speed flashes and a .224 batting average, .362 OBP, and .738 OPS, while his defensive value was strong enough to earn significant catching time early in his career[3][15]. He looks like a fit for teams wanting a gritty, offense-capable backstop with baseball IQ, versatility, and a knack for showing up in big moments[1][3][7].
