DeShawn Dockery

Veteran Guard Who Brings Defense, Playmaking, and Grit to Tennessee State

Dockery is a steady backcourt piece whose value goes beyond scoring: Tennessee State’s roster page shows he has long been trusted as a distributor, and recent stat lines highlight a guard who can impact games with assists and steals rather than just volume shooting. His profile suggests a tough, team-first player who can handle pressure possessions, defend the perimeter, and keep an offense organized, which makes him useful for teams that want control, hustle, and low-maintenance guard play. If you need a polished lead guard or a competitive locker-room tone-setter, he’s a fit.
