Jordan Theriault brings steady catching depth and academic polish to Merrimack
Theriault is a reliable depth piece at catcher for Merrimack, with her game value showing more in steadiness and baseball-IQ style details than eye-popping stats; in 2024 she appeared in six games and in 2025 four games, including her first career hit—a double—against Radford, while also earning MAAC All-Academic recognition in 2026 as a Sport Analytics major. That profile suggests a player who understands the game, can handle a staff, and adds professionalism and preparation, making her a sensible fit for a program that values defensive trust, culture, and smart role players.
