Chicago State’s Defensive Anchor with Elite Rebounding Intensity
Jace Colley, the Halifax-born forward for Chicago State Cougars, stands out not just for his 9.1 PPG and 5.3 RPG in the 2025-26 season, but for his relentless defensive presence—evidenced by a game-high 3 blocks and 10 rebounds in a key home win vs. Purdue Northwest. His 48.7% FG% reflects smart shot selection, while his intensity on the court and quiet, workmanlike personality make him a high-fit for teams needing a reliable, injury-free frontcourt player who elevates without demanding spotlight. Unlike stat-only profiles, Colley’s differentiator is his consistent physicality and defensive timing that disrupts opponents beyond the numbers.
