Laney Amundsen brings gritty veteran depth to Fresno State’s frontcourt
Amundsen is a Fresno native and 6-foot-1 senior forward whose value shows up in the little stuff: she’s experienced, physical, and has proven she can contribute in multiple ways. In the 2024-25 season, she appeared in 20 of 34 games for Fresno State, averaging 0.8 points and 0.8 rebounds in 6.1 minutes per game, but her 2023-24 season at CSUN showed more pop: 6.1 points, 4.6 rebounds, 33 assists, 30 steals, and 11 blocks in 28.6 minutes per game. She’s a hard-nosed fit if you want toughness, versatility, and a local player who understands the program.
