versatile ULM forward who led the Warhawks in scoring, rebounding, and free-throw pressure
Ongwae stood out as a high-usage, all-around forward for ULM, leading the Warhawks in scoring at 14.4 points per game while also pacing the team in free-throw percentage (83.6%) and offensive rebounds, which shows real hustle and toughness around the rim.[1] He added 6.6 rebounds, 3.8 assists, and 37 steals across 38 starts, so he wasn’t just a scorer—he impacted possessions in multiple ways and fit a do-everything role well.[1] His profile suggests a physical, competitive wing who can create extra chances and handle responsibility, making him the kind of steady, glue-guy fit teams can trust.[1][2]
