Coastal Carolina’s 6-foot-6 power righty with first-round juice
In the 2026 season, Flukey entered Coastal Carolina as one of the nation’s most decorated arms, ranked among the top MLB Draft prospects and coming off a 2025 breakout that featured a 7-2 record, 3.19 ERA, 118 strikeouts and just 24 walks in 101.2 innings. His calling card is a pro-ready starter’s frame, a fastball that can reach 98 mph, and the kind of strike-throwing mix that evaluators love. The caution flag: injuries trimmed his 2026 workload, so the upside is huge, but durability will matter.
