Will Butler was a high-efficiency, paint-first forward for UAB
In the 2019 season, Will Butler was a model of efficiency for UAB, shooting 59.4% from the field while averaging 8.7 points and 4.5 rebounds in 32 games, and he also led the Blazers in field-goal percentage that year.[4][12] His profile says “reliable, physical frontcourt producer” more than “highlight-machine”: he finished around the rim, rebounded well for his minutes, and posted strong offensive value without needing the ball a ton.[4][11] If a team wants size, low-drama production, and a forward who understands his role, Butler fits; if it needs floor-spacing or high-usage creation, he’s not that guy.[4][12]
