Vic Moten looks like Alabama’s freshman ace-in-waiting
In the 2026 season, Alabama freshman RHP Vic Moten turned heads fast: she finished with an 18-4 record, a 1.84 ERA, and 151 strikeouts, earning SEC Pitcher of the Week honors and top-10 SEC marks in wins, ERA, and strikeouts. Her separator is electric poise under pressure—she delivered multiple shutouts, including a one-hit complete game against Auburn, and Alabama leaned on her as a big-game arm. She profiles as a high-impact fit for teams that want a tough, competitive starter with swing-and-miss stuff and real Friday-night energy.
