Avrelle Harrell brings contact, speed, and timely hits to NCCU's outfield
In the 2026 season, Avrelle Harrell has been a useful spark for North Carolina Central, hitting .297 with 11 hits in 25 at-bats and chipping in three RBIs while also showing aggressive baserunning with multiple stolen bases. The sophomore outfielder looks like a pressure player: quick, active, and capable of turning lineup depth into run-scoring moments. She fits a team that wants energy, table-setting offense, and defensive versatility more than a pure power bat.
