Gavin Smith is a young, active DB with developmental upside at Indiana State
In the 2026 season, Gavin Smith is a freshman defensive back for Indiana State listed at 6'0", 180 pounds and wearing No. 46, which gives him the frame to grow into a reliable FCS secondary piece.[2][3] The available public data does not yet show game stats or news, so the read here is more projection than production: a clean developmental add with local Indiana roots and starter-sized measurables, but still an unproven commodity on the field in 2026.[1][2][3]
