Furman’s 6-4 target John Holbrook is a red-zone weapon with a recovery story to watch
John Holbrook’s appeal is obvious: at 6-4, 200, he brings size, catch radius, and big-play upside to Furman’s receiver room, and Furman’s 2026 preview says he is working back from an injury that cost him the entire 2025 season. In his 2024 freshman season, he produced 11 catches for 164 yards and a touchdown, and his IMG Academy résumé suggests he has the pedigree to grow into more than a situational target. If he’s fully healthy, he looks like a physical mismatch who could fit nicely as a boundary receiver or red-zone piece.
