disruptive interior force for NC A&T
Marquis Hood has emerged as a productive, high-motor defensive lineman for North Carolina A&T, with 2025 production that included 44 tackles, 13 tackles for loss, and 8.5 sacks in his first Division I-FCS season after transferring from Division II Fort Valley State. He profiles as an attack-minded interior defender who wins with burst, leverage, and backfield disruption, and he also showed playmaking flashes with passes defended and a forced fumble. If you want a tone-setter who can collapse pockets and create negative plays, Hood is a strong fit.
