UNLV Senior OF Jack Salmon: 2024 MVP with Elite Power-Speed Combo and Season-Opening Triple
Jack Salmon, UNLV’s 6’3” senior outfielder, is a proven differentiator who won 2024 team MVP after hitting .361 with 11 home runs and 45 RBI as a sophomore at Golden West College, then immediately translated that power to the NCAA level with 42 runs and 53 hits in 49 games as a junior [1][8][10]. In the 2026 season opener, he tripled to drive in UNLV’s first run, showcasing his live bat and clutch intensity [2][4]. Salmon’s blend of 11-HR power, 10 SB speed, and 9 steals in just nine 2026 games reveals rare two-way athleticism [1][7]. He’s a high-intensity, team-first leader from Newport Beach, CA, with no reported injury history, making him a safe, high-upside fit for any roster needing an OF who can score, hit for power, and play with relentless energy [1][3].
