TrayVaughn Swanigan brings proven disruption and positional versatility to NCCU’s defensive front
In the 2026 season, TrayVaughn Swanigan arrives at North Carolina Central as a junior defensive tackle with a real pass-rush résumé: he logged 20 tackles, 14 quarterback hurries, and four quarterback hits at Southern Utah in 2025, and previously earned Second-Team NJCAA Division I All-American honors at Snow College with 9.5 tackles for loss, 6.5 sacks, and four forced fumbles. NCCU describes him as physical, disciplined, and versatile enough to play multiple spots on the line, which makes him a fit for a team that wants interior disruption, effort, and experienced depth more than flashy stat-padding.
