Andrey Martinez is Bethune-Cookman’s clutch middle-order hammer
Martinez has been one of Bethune-Cookman’s most dangerous bats in the 2025 season, finishing with a .353 average, 20 home runs and 64 RBIs, then backing it up with a walk-off three-run homer to win the SWAC title and earning ABCA/Rawlings All-Region honors.[4][7][2] He’s a right-handed, 6-foot-2 power hitter with real impact in big moments, and his 2026 start has also included a walk-off homer against Yale plus national Team of the Week recognition, which screams “trust this guy when the lights get bright.”[14][3]
