Patrick Johnson gives Old Dominion a steady senior arm with strikeout pop
In the 2026 season, Old Dominion right-hander Patrick Johnson has been a useful innings piece with a swing-and-miss profile and enough trust from the staff to keep getting the ball in meaningful spots. He’s the kind of pitcher who can stabilize a game when the tempo gets messy—competitive, attack-minded, and not afraid to challenge hitters. The appeal is his mix of experience and poise more than flashy numbers: if your team wants a veteran RHP who can give quality frames and handle pressure, he looks like a solid fit.
