Kyler Bacosa brings a sturdy right-handed arm and strikeout pedigree to SJSU
In the 2025 season at Redlands, Kyler Bacosa logged 24 innings with 25 strikeouts and no home runs allowed, then entered San José State in 2026 as a 6-foot-3, 225-pound senior RHP from San Jose who has shown bat-missing ability and bullpen value in relief work. His profile suggests a power arm with durability and competitive edge, plus local-backer energy that plays well in a staff looking for innings. The fit question is straightforward: if a team wants a physical strike thrower who can miss bats and handle leverage, Bacosa is worth a serious look.
