Lorraine Alo brings on-base skills and freshman-year buzz to Fresno State
Alo entered Fresno State as a sophomore infielder with legitimate impact upside after a standout freshman season that earned her national freshman-of-the-year finalist status and second-team All-Pacific Region honors. Her calling card is getting on base and creating pressure: in 2024 she posted a .486 on-base percentage and 27 RBI, and she later added a .457 average with a .528 OBP in a 14-game stretch. For a team, she looks like a high-IQ, disciplined bat with real lineup value; the main question is whether she can turn that on-base profile into consistent production at a higher level.
