Oregon's Salimatou Kourouma brings proven scoring punch and veteran international experience
Kourouma is a 5-foot-11 forward who gives Oregon a ready-made shot creator: she averaged 15.7 points, 5.7 rebounds and 1.8 steals across three Division I seasons, and she was the 2023 OVC Player of the Year at Little Rock before transferring through Arizona to Oregon.[7] In 2023-24, she posted 9.5 points and 3.3 rebounds in 13 games for Arizona, showing she can still contribute in a larger role, while her Mali resume includes strong production at the U17/U18 and senior FIBA levels.[3][4][10][11][2]
