Kyle Pott brings a power frame and a perfect-game pedigree to UCSB
Kyle Pott enters UC Santa Barbara as a 6-foot-6 righty with real upside: in 2025 at Franklin High, he logged a perfect game, struck out 12 in five innings, and was praised as a pitcher who’s “going to end up being really good” — the kind of arm that can miss bats and build innings fast. He redshirted the 2026 season, so the big question is development, but the blend of size, strikeout stuff, and proven dominance makes him a compelling fit for a program that likes ceiling.
