Scotty Fox Jr. brings dual-threat upside and real starter experience to WVU
In the 2025 season, Scotty Fox Jr. threw for 1,276 yards, 7 touchdowns, and 6 interceptions while completing 59.4% of his passes, showing enough live-game reps to matter and enough arm talent to keep defenses honest[1][6]. At 6-foot-2 and 215 pounds, he profiles as a sturdy, competitive quarterback with a decent frame for contact and some mobility value, and WVU’s staff has treated him as a legitimate part of the QB picture entering 2026[1][14]. The big question: can he sharpen consistency and decision-making enough to turn flashes into command?
