veteran UNI slot/vertical threat with local roots and real bounce-back upside
Tay Norman is a 6-foot-2, 190-pound graduate student receiver for UNI who has flashed efficient production when healthy: in the 2024 season, he caught 5 passes for 45 yards in 6 games, and in 2025 he opened with 3 catches for 29 yards before a season-ending injury. What makes him interesting is the combo of size, Iowa pedigree, and proven toughness after coming back from limited action and injury setbacks; he was also a high-school All-State standout who led Iowa 4A in yards and receptions. If you want a dependable, experienced WR with developmental upside, he’s worth a long look.
