Michael Benzor brings DBU a big-bodied, battle-tested arm with real swing-and-miss upside
In the 2026 season, Michael Benzor has flashed value as a right-handed reliever for Dallas Baptist, with DBU calling him a battle-tested transfer who held hitters to a .188 average last season and has already logged 29 appearances over the past two years. He stands out for a physical 6-foot-4 frame, a hard mid-to-upper-80s slider, and a power profile that can miss bats when his command is on. The catch: strike-throwing has been the swing skill, so he looks best as a high-upside bullpen fit rather than a plug-and-play lock.
