Luke Jones brings innings, strikeouts, and weekend-starter polish to Coastal Carolina
In the 2026 season, Coastal Carolina RHP Luke Jones became a dependable rotation piece, posting a 4-2 record with a 4.44 ERA over a team-high 79.0 innings, 67 strikeouts, and 15 starts while limiting hitters to a .245 average. His calling card is durability with swing-and-miss ability: he logged seven outings of at least 6.0 innings and five with at least five strikeouts, which screams workload trust. The fit is attractive for teams wanting a starter who competes deep into games, even if the profile is more steady-operator than pure wipeout ace.
