Jackson State LB Bryce Owens brings senior depth, special-teams grit, and downhill toughness
Bryce Owens is a 2026 senior linebacker for Jackson State who has been a depth-and-utility piece, with the roster noting he played in three games in the 2025 season, all on special teams. He’s a 6-foot, 215-pound local product from Raymond, Mississippi, and the value here is classic: size, familiarity with the program, and a willingness to do the dirty work before the highlight reel arrives. If you want an immediate stat-stuffing headline, he’s not that guy yet; if you want a dependable, physical, team-first linebacker who can earn snaps through consistency and effort, Owens absolutely fits the bill.
