Owen McKoon brings rare two-way pop and run-production to UL Monroe
McKoon profiles as a high-upside catcher/outfielder because he pairs impact bat speed with athleticism and versatility, a combo that stood out in high school when he hit .532 with 17 stolen bases and also dominated on the mound. That background suggests a player who can help in multiple ways, bring intensity, and handle pressure on both sides of the ball, which is valuable if you want flexibility and game-changing upside rather than a one-dimensional role player. Publicly available UL Monroe roster information confirms his current college status, but detailed 2026 collegiate stats were not available in the provided sources.[1][2]
