Long, projectable Hornets forward still finding his offensive rhythm
In the 2025-26 season, Kevin Alabi has flashed the appeal of a modern forward: a 6'7"-6'9" frame, Canadian pedigree, and early production around 1.0 points and 2.2 rebounds in 8.3 minutes per game, with Alabama State listing him as a redshirt freshman after a 2024-25 redshirt year. His strongest differentiators are size, length, and prep reputation as a high-effort defender/rebounder who averaged 15 points and two blocks in high school, but his current college role suggests he’s still a developmental piece rather than an instant-impact scorer. If a team wants upside, motor, and rim-protection potential, he’s intriguing; if it needs polished offense now, he’s more of a future bet.
