Mason Scott is an emerging, high-usage infield bat for Army
In 2026, Mason Scott broke into the Army lineup with 27 appearances and 19 starts, mostly at third base, and hit .318 with an .898 OPS while earning Patriot League Player and Rookie of the Week honors after a 6-for-11 weekend at Lehigh. His profile suggests a compact, productive infielder who brings contact, on-base ability, and enough defensive versatility to handle multiple infield spots. For a team, the appeal is a reliable, competitive role player with upside—not just numbers, but a player already trusted in meaningful spots and rewarded for a fast start.
