Jalen Nicolas is a rising, disruptive DL with early production and a high-motor frame
In the 2025 season, Western Illinois defensive lineman Jalen Nicolas appeared in 12 games and produced 8 solo tackles, 13 assisted tackles, and 1.5 sacks, showing he can get involved early and finish plays at the point of attack.[1][2] At 6-foot-3 and 230 pounds, he brings a lean, developmental build for the edge, plus enough active production and versatility to be more than just a body in the rotation.[2][12] His high-school résumé added a solid foundation—28 tackles, 2.5 sacks, and 2 pass deflections—suggesting a player who competes, flashes disruption, and still has room to grow into a more complete collegiate DL.[1][9]
