Lillie Brooks brings speed and versatility to Santa Clara’s 2026 mix
In the 2026 season, Lillie Brooks is a freshman catcher for Santa Clara who’s already shown value as a quick-impact runner and situational piece, including steals and pinch-running appearances. She doesn’t profile as a volume-stat star yet, but her fit is clearer than the box score: she adds depth, energy, and game management potential at a premium position. For a team looking for a gritty, development-friendly backstop with athletic upside and roster flexibility, Brooks is a name worth tracking.
