Gritty Left-Handed Freshman Ace Battling Through Tough 2026 Campaign at Saint Francis
As a 5-5 left-handed pitcher and ThunderRidge HS standout (10 HS wins, 143 K in 149 IP), freshman Ella Zoss has shown starter tenacity for Saint Francis Red Flash in 2026, logging 75 IP across 22 apps with 12 GS and 5 CG despite a 2-12 record, 7.75 ERA, and just 20 K—highlighting her durability and willingness to eat innings in a rebuilding NEC program. Her poise under pressure (recent 5/2 W vs. St. Francis Pa.) and multi-positional versatility (P/1B/C) make her a coach's dream for teams seeking a battle-tested lefty with upside and biology-major smarts.
