Matt Reyes is becoming a trusted innings-eater for Delaware
In the 2026 season, Delaware RHP Matt Reyes showed real utility and toughness, working nine games with a spot start and delivering his best outing on April 14 with a career-high seven innings, four strikeouts, and no earned runs in a win over Delaware State[1][4][8]. He’s not just a stat line—he reads like a durable, team-first arm who can start or relieve, absorb innings, and keep games stable after rougher outings like the April 7 start at Lehigh[1][7]. For a staff that needs a dependable competitor with some upside as a swingman, Reyes looks like a useful fit.
