Kyle Hvidsten’s bat has real pop, but the on-base profile is the separator
Hvidsten is a right-handed catcher at Liberty who brings proven power, plate discipline, and a track record of big-game production. In 2025 at Western Kentucky, he hit .282 with a .497 OBP, six homers, 22 RBI, and 10 stolen bases, then carried that momentum into Liberty in 2026 while supplying a .422 OBP and six home runs. He’s more than a stat line: a 2024 NJCAA First Team All-American who can draw walks, punish mistakes, and give a lineup toughness and run production behind the plate.
