a 6-foot-5 power bat with proven pop and run production
In the 2025 season at RPI, Ian Oehlschlaeger put up loud numbers, hitting .438 with a .546 OBP, .734 SLG, 11 home runs, 11 doubles, 58 runs, and 58 RBI, then brought that profile to Northeastern as a big-bodied OF/1B with obvious middle-of-the-order upside. He stands out for impact contact, size, and run production, with a track record that includes D3 All-American and conference honors; the main question is how quickly that bat translates against tougher Division I arms.
