Marshall Nichols is a reliable, high-end punter with proven field-flipping ability
Nichols arrives at Georgia Tech as a proven specialist who has already shown he can change field position at a high level: he was an honorable-mention All-Mountain West punter at UNLV, averaged 47.1 yards per punt in 2023 (sixth nationally), and followed with 44.3 in 2024 while pinning 20 punts inside the 20.[2][8] He also earned ACC and Ray Guy attention in 2025 after a 51.2-yard game vs. Temple and a 48.1-yard season average early in the year, suggesting elite leg strength and consistency.[9] If you need a punter with distance, placement, and big-game pedigree, he fits.
