Deep-Tryout WR With Untapped BYU Upside
Tyler West entered the portal after his true freshman season at BYU, and the key takeaway is that he was a walk-on receiver still in the early stages of his college career in 2024-25. He profiles more as a developmental flier than a finished product: undersized at about 5-foot-10 and 165 pounds, with no meaningful game-log production available yet. The appeal is upside and roster depth, but any team should view him as a project with limited on-field résumé so far.
