Kelsey Ogin is emerging as a reliable innings-eater in Youngstown State’s circle
Ogin has already shown she can anchor a staff: as a freshman in 2025 she made 27 appearances with 18 starts, logged 10 complete games and two shutouts, and delivered several high-leverage gems, including a three-hit shutout of Furman and a nine-strikeout win over Detroit Mercy. She pairs durability with real swing-and-miss ability, and her 6-foot frame helps her work downhill with a power profile that fits a rotation need. For teams valuing a young starter who can compete deep into games, she looks like a strong fit.
