Jared Butler is a high-IQ, pressure-ready guard who can tilt a game with shooting and playmaking
Butler’s calling card is two-way guard skill: he can score at all three levels, run offense, and create advantages without forcing the action. At Baylor, he built a reputation as a clutch competitor with poise, strong feel, and NBA-level decision-making; his 2020-21 Baylor run helped fuel a national title and a consensus All-American season.[2][7] For a team, he fits best as a lead guard who raises structure, spacing, and late-game composure—especially if you value toughness and winning habits over raw flash.[2][7]
