Sophie Naivar is Boston University’s on-base machine with pop
In the 2026 season, Sophie Naivar has been a table-setter for Boston University, posting a team-best .547 on-base percentage and a sparkling .789 OBP in one week that earned her NCAA Softball’s Lineup of the Week nod. She brings more than contact: seven walks in a 7-for-11 stretch, plus extra-base pop and enough patience to stress pitchers into mistakes. She looks like a high-IQ, momentum-swinging OF who fits best on a team that values disciplined, pressure-heavy offense and a player who can change an inning without needing a homer to do it.
