Joseph Allen brings two-way star power to Spurgeon College
In the 2025-26 season, Joseph Allen has been Spurgeon’s do-everything guard, averaging 27.0 points, 10.5 rebounds, 5.3 assists, 2.8 steals and 2.0 blocks through four games while shooting .667 from the field and .720 at the line. He was the 2026 NCCAA National Player of the Year after a monster all-around campaign, and earlier earned DCC MVP, Defensive Player of the Year, and a record seven blocks in a game. At 6-foot-4, Allen’s blend of scoring, defense, playmaking and motor makes him the kind of high-impact, plug-and-play leader every coach wants.
