Andrew Bowers is giving The Citadel a sturdy, high-leverage arm in 2026
In the 2026 season, Andrew Bowers has worked both as a starter and a relief weapon for The Citadel, with a 2-2 record and a 6.00 ERA over 36.0 innings, while striking out 22 against 12 walks. He’s not a polished stat-sheet bully yet, but he’s shown real toughness and flexibility: he logged a 5-inning win over Charleston Southern and later earned a relief win against ETSU, which says plenty about his competitiveness and team value. If you want an innings-eater with starter/reliever utility and visible fight, he’s worth a look.
