Live-armed Louisville righty still earning his stripes
In the 2026 season, Kian Vorster is a sophomore right-hander for Louisville whose profile is built more on upside than volume: he was a No. 11 prospect in Kentucky out of South Oldham and has already flashed bat-missing stuff in relief, including a two-strikeout inning against Seton Hall and a scoreless outing that earned him his first career win. His current line has been uneven, so he reads more like a developmental arm than a finished product, but the appeal is clear: local product, competitive edge, and enough strikeout potential to keep coaching staffs interested.
