Northern Arizona’s Jerry Johnson III: a 6-foot-1, 195-pound DB trending upward after a steady 2025
Jerry Johnson III is a physical, ascending Northern Arizona defensive back who appeared in 11 games in the 2025 season and finished with 17 total tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, and 0.5 sack. At 6-foot-1 and 195 pounds, he brings size and edge to the secondary, with enough versatility to show up near the line of scrimmage. What stands out is the trajectory: after redshirting in 2024, he carved out meaningful snaps in 2025, including a six-tackle season finale against Weber State. He looks like a sturdy, high-motor fit for teams that value toughness and developmental upside.
