Carson Wehner brings strike-throwing upside and big-stage poise to Elon’s bullpen
Carson Wehner is a right-handed pitcher for Elon whose profile is built on competitive toughness and proven high-leverage flashes, including a 2024 win over No. 8 Wake Forest when he allowed just one hit in 3.1 innings. In 2025, his results were uneven, but he still logged meaningful innings for the Phoenix, showing the kind of arm staff can lean on when they need a durable, attack-the-zone reliever. He looks like a fit for a team that values makeup, versatility, and bounce-back potential more than polished numbers.
