Malachi Riley is back healthy and ready to be a sneaky weapon for San Jose State
After a 2025 season cut short by a lower-body injury, Riley enters 2026 as a preseason Mountain West fourth-team offense selection and a promising bounce-back target for the Spartans. He brings NFL-ish size at about 6'1" and a reputation for versatility, with coaches valuing that he chose SJSU for family culture and strong coaching. The appeal is simple: if he stays healthy, he has the skill set and opportunity to turn limited 2025 production into a much bigger role.
