Gianni Galaviz brings compact, disruptive interior juice to Tarleton State
Galaviz is a 6-foot-2, 275-pound defensive lineman whose value shows up in leverage, toughness, and proven backfield disruption: at Laney College, he posted 29 tackles and 3.5 sacks across 12 games, with 8.5 tackles for loss, before appearing in three games for Tarleton State in 2023. The fit is appealing if a team wants a high-motor DL who can create negative plays and hold up physically; the tradeoff is that his college résumé is still relatively small, so he reads more like a dependable developmental piece than a finished product.
