a big righty with a live arm, but the 2026 results have been uneven
In the 2026 season, Stetson right-hander Thrasher Steed has flashed swing-and-miss stuff and logged a scoreless outing against Florida State, but his season line shows inconsistency: 9.82 ERA with 7 strikeouts in 7.1 innings. He’s a 6-foot-3, 220-pound redshirt junior who transferred from Chipola and brings bullpen flexibility, but the current profile says “projectable depth arm” more than proven shutdown ace. If your team wants size, arm strength, and upside, he’s intriguing; if you need polished, immediate reliability, the numbers are still asking for patience.
